1. Who We Are

Math Drill is a free Android application developed by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy applies to the Math Drill mobile application (the "App") available on the Google Play Store.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store on our servers, or transmit any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifier
• Your location or GPS data
• Your phone contacts, photos, or camera
• Any data from your device's microphone
• Device identifiers (IMEI, phone number, etc.)
• Your browsing history or activity outside the app

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your device, using Android's secure local storage. This data never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it yourself:

• Practice sessions — questions answered, scores, timestamps, topic, difficulty
• App settings — theme, difficulty preference, keypad layout, timer settings, language choice
• Streak and progress data — daily streak count, total sessions, topic performance
• Pro purchase status — a flag indicating whether Pro is unlocked, stored securely using Android's Keystore system (via expo-secure-store)

This data is deleted if you uninstall the App.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect data independently. Please review their respective privacy policies:

Google Play In-App Purchases

If you purchase the Pro upgrade, the payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment information (card, UPI, bank details). Google handles the transaction and provides the App with a confirmation receipt only.

Expo (App Framework)

The App is built using the Expo framework. Expo may collect anonymous crash reports and usage telemetry to improve the framework. This is separate from any data related to your math practice.

5. Children's Privacy

Math Drill is designed to be safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require registration, login, or any personal information to use.

6. Permissions We Request

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• INTERNET — Required to process in-app purchases via Google Play.
• VIBRATE — Optional vibration feedback on correct/wrong answers. You can disable this in Settings.

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or storage.

7. Data Security

All data is stored locally on your device using standard Android secure storage APIs. The Pro purchase flag is stored using Android Keystore-backed secure storage to prevent tampering. We do not operate any external database or server, so there is no risk of a data breach from our side.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data on our servers, there is no data to delete, export, or correct on our end. To remove all locally stored app data, simply uninstall the App from your device.

For data collected by Google (Play Store), please use Google's own privacy and account management tools at myaccount.google.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in the App or applicable laws. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. We recommend checking this page periodically.
